The Milton Housing Authority provides safe, decent
and affordable rental housing opportunities for the residents
of Santa Rosa County, Florida.

Our Mission
The mission of the Milton Housing Authority is to assess and fulfill the need for decent, safe, and affordable housing in Santa Rosa County that provides an environment which empowers low income families to improve their lives. The Milton Housing Authority also promotes self-sufficiency and family unification. Milton Housing Authority provides Equal Housing Opportunity and does not discriminate on any basis.

Announcements

It is the policy of Milton Housing Authority that all new voucher holders must reside in Santa Rosa County, Florida for a minimum of one year.  

  
  
 
Section 8
Please see the Public Notices area for the status of Section 8/HCV applications.
Due to the high volume of Section 8 applications received from June 23-26, 2025, it will take one to four months for us to verify eligibility and place applicants on the waiting list. We appreciate your patience.
Public Housing
Milton Housing Authority will close the waiting lists for Public Housing (One-, two-, three-and four-bedroom units) on June 30, 2026.
Until that time, you may apply in person at the office, or request an application be mailed to you. Applications received after June 30, 2026, will not be accepted.
PUBLIC HOUSING APPLICATIONS ARE PAPER ONLY. YOU CANNOT APPLY ONLINE.
